WATCH for Us In Your Community!

We continue hosting our Community Open Houses, traveling throughout our service territory bringing our Sales, Customer and Technical Support teams, Human Resources as well as some of our managers and executive leadership to answer questions and talk about how we’re growing. Since October, we’ve hosted nine Open Houses and are planning more in the fall – after fair season!

In some areas, we’ve hosted ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and our most recent ribbon cutting was extra special. Each of these ceremonies announces the towers we’ve upgraded to be capable of handling speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Henderson County, KY, is an area where residents have really struggled with access to these kinds of speeds that let users access super-fast internet for things like online gaming and video conferences.

Linda Johnson has seen the ups and downs of this very real challenge of rural internet. She worked for Q Wireless and, after Watch acquired the company in 2019, she joined Watch’s sales team. At the ribbon cutting, Southern Indiana/Western Kentucky General Manager Phil Lambert handed the ceremonial scissors to Linda in recognition of her long-time commitment to helping the community. During the open house later that day, there was a line out the door of people waiting to talk with Linda – either about service or just to say hello!

We want to thank the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce for helping us coordinate the ribbon cutting and Open House. We greatly appreciate their assistance. Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider stopped by the Open House to talk about our expanded services with our team.

We’re going to take a break from the open houses to focus on county fairs – did someone say fried oreos, funnel cake, and cheese curds? We’ll post our schedule on our events page at getwatch.com/events and hope to see you on the midway!
